Bilingual, English/French Proofreader

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Report directly to a Team Lead within the global Editorial Team.

• Review clients’ press releases for grammatical mistakes, spelling errors, and inconsistencies; fact-checking is not part of this role.

• Format press releases to align as closely as possible with clients’ original versions.

• Provide support to clients through phone and email communication.

• Assist with regulatory requirements, including SEDAR and EDGAR filings.

• Help with account maintenance tasks, such as managing email lists, adding users and accounts, and overseeing multimedia libraries.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding administrative, consultative, and press release service requests.

• Work collaboratively with teammates and various departments.

• Grow knowledge of additional Notified products.

• Distribute press releases on a global scale to journalists, terminals, and websites.

• Be prepared to work occasional overtime during peak periods.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field is required.

• Equivalent work experience in a similar role may be accepted in lieu of educational qualifications.

• 1–2 years of professional experience is required.

• Prior customer service experience in a dynamic environment is required.

• Fluency in both English and French is required.

• Strong multitasking abilities are essential.

• Capability to maintain concentration under pressure.

• Outstanding time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

• Availability for occasional weekend on-call shifts, holidays, and remote monitoring outside of regular hours.

• Successful completion of pre-employment screening is necessary.
