This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Organize and conduct multilingual (Spanish-English) public meetings, pop-up events, focus groups, and stakeholder interviews for housing initiatives at the county and city levels.
• Implement ARC Community Development Assistance Program (CDAP) and Asset-Based Community Development methodologies, while collaborating with ARC personnel and community-based organizations.
• Evaluate fair housing conditions, including segregation, opportunity mapping, and zoning barriers, to formulate equity-driven housing strategies and performance indicators.
• Assist in the development of frameworks for emergency and transitional housing as well as referral pathways in partnership with Continuum of Care collaborators.
• Translate and modify surveys and public materials, ensuring they are accessible and culturally appropriate.
• Write sections of housing needs assessments, strategic housing plans, and implementation matrices.
• Over 5 years of experience in housing planning, community development, urban planning, or public agency community engagement.
• Involvement in at least one housing study, housing plan, consolidated plan, or comprehensive plan.
• Professional proficiency in both Spanish and English (written and spoken), or a strong specialization in fair housing or homelessness systems.
• Proven experience in facilitating public meetings with diverse and underserved populations.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to client locations within the Atlanta metropolitan area.
• Experience collaborating with the Atlanta Regional Commission, Georgia DCA, or a city or county in the Atlanta metro area.
• AICP certification is required.
• Background in AFFH, Analysis of Impediments, or HUD fair housing planning.
• Familiarity with Continuum of Care, HMIS, or coordinated entry systems.
• Proficiency in GIS and data visualization tools (ArcGIS, Tableau, or Power BI).
• Remote-first work environment.
• Occasional travel for client engagements.
