Senior Desarrollador Backend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ecuador.

📋 Description

• Design and develop microservices using Java 21 and Quarkus

• Create secure and scalable REST APIs

• Implement principles of Clean Architecture and design patterns

• Conduct testing with a TDD approach

• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases

• Deploy solutions utilizing Docker and Kubernetes

• Actively participate in agile teams following Scrum methodology

• Perform code reviews and document technical decisions

⛳️ Requirements

• Professional experience with Java 21

• Experience with Quarkus

• Background in microservices

• Proficiency in REST APIs

• Expertise in TDD

• Knowledge of Clean Code principles and design patterns

• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases

• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes

• Understanding of GitLab and Scrum

• Knowledge of OWASP is desirable

• Degree in Systems Engineering, Software, or related fields

• Certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional Java, AWS Developer Associate, Azure Developer Associate, CKAD, or Professional Scrum Developer are a plus

• Native Spanish speaker
