This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee the Employee and Family Assistance Program services, which encompass counselling, legal, financial, and nutritional support, by utilizing both phone and email communication.
• Appropriately align clients with suitable services and clinical professionals.
• Input client information into the electronic records system while managing incoming phone calls.
• Recognize crisis calls and perform risk assessments accordingly.
• Facilitate referrals to specialists and develop safety plans when necessary.
• Address client complaints, concerns, and feedback regarding EFAP services and eligibility.
• Exceptional proficiency in both English and French, encompassing verbal and written communication.
• A university degree is preferred; however, a combination of relevant experience and education will be considered.
• Competency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Outlook.
• Capacity to learn and adapt to new systems efficiently.
• Ability to listen attentively and maintain composure and empathy in high-pressure situations.
• Availability for shifts across days, afternoons, and nights in a 24/7 operational environment, including on statutory holidays.
• A secure, quiet, and confidential home office that promotes productivity and complies with Occupational Health and Safety standards.
• Reliable internet connection with a minimum download speed of 75 Mbps.
• A telephone that is physically connected via cable to the router.
