This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee designated projects and/or cases.
• Comply with general company protocols.
• Execute call-center initiatives and offer telephone assistance to patients, healthcare providers, and funding organizations.
• Assist with funding and access challenges, which include private, public, and special access programs, as well as compliance initiatives.
• Administer and adhere to case-management procedures, encompassing clinical monitoring, data gathering, ongoing patient follow-up, compliance checks, therapy disruption/discontinuation tracking, adverse-event reporting, and coordination with primary healthcare providers.
• Carry out pharmaceutical and biotechnology-related market research activities involving physicians, patients, pharmacists, and other allied health professionals.
• Make a large number of outbound calls for patient programs.
• Record each action in the program-specific database.
• Engage in continuous refresher training and specialized product or program education.
• Provide insights on protocols, databases, processes, and inter-departmental collaborations.
• Relay case-management information to managers, pods, and trained program colleagues during scheduled absences.
• Assist in the training of new caseworkers, including observing and monitoring calls.
• Report all adverse events to the designated departments.
• Carry out additional duties and tasks as needed.
• Extensive training in business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences, or related fields, typically acquired through a two-year associate's degree program or a comparable combination of experience and education.
• At least one (1) year of customer service experience.
• Bilingual in French and English is required.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in the medical and pharmaceutical sectors is an advantage.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Advanced understanding of the pharmaceutical distribution industry.
• Familiarity with an automated warehouse management system.
