This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ecuador.

📋 Description

• Design and develop microservices using Java 21 and Quarkus

• Build secure and scalable REST APIs

• Apply Clean Architecture principles and design patterns

• Implement tests following a TDD approach

• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases

• Deploy solutions using Docker and Kubernetes

• Actively participate in agile teams operating under Scrum

• Conduct code reviews

• Document technical decisions

• Experience with Java 21

• Experience with Quarkus

• Experience in microservices

• Experience with REST APIs

• Experience in TDD

• Knowledge of Clean Code

• Understanding of design patterns

• Experience with SQL and NoSQL

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes

• Familiarity with GitLab and Scrum

• OWASP knowledge is desirable

• Degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or related fields

• Certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional Java, AWS Developer Associate, Azure Developer Associate, CKAD, or Professional Scrum Developer are a plus

• TDD — Expert

• QUARKUS — Intermediate

• Spanish — NATIVE
