This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nicaragua, +5 more countries.
• Oversee personal injury cases and manage case-related activities from initial intake through ongoing treatment.
• Collect and organize medical records and necessary documentation.
• Initiate and manage insurance claims.
• Arrange medical treatment and appointments for clients involved in personal injury cases.
• Establish and oversee medical liens with healthcare providers.
• Follow up with medical providers concerning treatment, records, bills, and documentation.
• Manage and coordinate property damage claims.
• Keep clients informed about treatment, appointments, claims, and updates related to their cases.
• Liaise with insurance companies, medical providers, and other parties as necessary.
• Ensure accurate and current case documentation and records are maintained.
• Monitor case progress, outstanding items, and necessary follow-ups.
• Guarantee timely follow-up on medical treatment, records, liens, and property damage issues.
• Operate independently and take responsibility for assigned cases and tasks.
• Coordinate medical treatment and follow up with both providers and clients.
• Open and manage medical liens along with associated documentation.
• Address property damage and insurance claim matters while tracking case developments.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience specifically as a Personal Injury Case Manager.
• At least 2 years of experience supporting a California-based personal injury law firm in a similar Case Manager role.
• Comprehensive understanding of personal injury case management processes.
• Practical experience with retrieving medical records, initiating insurance claims, coordinating medical treatment, managing medical liens, and handling property damage claims.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
• Capability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and follow-ups concurrently.
• Comfortable engaging directly with clients, medical providers, and insurance companies.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred; strong English-only candidates will also be considered.
• Experience with Filevine is preferred.
• Previous experience managing personal injury cases in California is preferred.
• Experience in coordinating treatment and medical providers for personal injury clients is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical lien processes and property damage claims is preferred.
• Experience working remotely with a U.S.-based law firm is preferred.
• Full-time employment with a commitment of 40 hours per week.
• Opportunity for remote work.
• Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST.
