This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee and implement services related to Sentrex Health Solutions' patient support programs.
• Manage all facets of program support and act as the main point of contact for designated health care providers.
• Ensure that patients have access to support programs and their prescribed medication therapies.
• Communicate with patients, insurance providers, pharmacies, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to secure medication coverage.
• Conduct registration and enrollment activities for healthcare providers and patients.
• Handle relevant data entry received during the delivery of program services.
• Respond to phone and web inquiries regarding program services, disease states, and products.
• Offer medical support, disease and therapy education, as well as disease management guidance.
• Attend specialized training sessions for specific therapies.
• Provide inbound and outbound support for telephone, maintenance, and adherence.
• Implement case-management protocols, which include clinical monitoring, data collection, follow-up, compliance checks, therapy disruption/discontinuation tracking, and reporting of adverse events.
• Collaborate with reimbursement specialists and physicians to secure funding for therapies and explore alternative funding options.
• Participate in patient meetings and conferences as necessary.
• Identify and report adverse events within the required timelines.
• Uphold the confidentiality of patient, client, and corporate information.
• Coordinate patient services and resolve issues by liaising with physicians’ offices, pharmacies, infusion/injection providers, and other involved parties.
• Engage in continuing education activities.
• Create training materials and programs for new members of the Patient Support Program (PSP) team.
• Advocate for patients and healthcare providers throughout the patient journey, including enrollment, coverage renewals, and reimbursement support.
• Review, analyze, and verify the accuracy and completeness of patient information.
• Schedule necessary next steps to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Follow up and advocate until coverage decisions are finalized.
• Document adverse events according to pharmacovigilance standards.
• Comply with Sentrex policies and procedures.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
• Must hold an RN or RPN designation in good standing with the College of Nurses in the respective province.
• Experience in Patient Support Programs is essential.
• Knowledge of reimbursement processes for securing patient coverage is advantageous.
• Experience in the field of Neurology is highly valued.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible hours between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm (EST).
• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding patient, client, and corporate information.
