
Bilingual Functional Lead, Pension Implementation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Act as the representative for the benefit calculation implementation team in project management.
• Establish and oversee the priorities of the implementation team.
• Continuously plan deliverables while taking the project scope into account.
• Proactively recognize potential risks and challenges.
• Manage the analysis documents related to pension plan rules.
• Offer technical assistance and oversee the setup of the benefit calculation engine.
• Acquire in-depth knowledge of system configuration to serve as the calculation engine expert during implementations.
• Assist specialized technical stakeholders with data conversion and data collection tasks.
• Collaborate closely with the product development team.
• Participate in the ongoing enhancement of implementation processes.
• A university degree in actuarial science, mathematics, project management, or a related field.
• Over 7 years of pertinent experience in defined benefit pension plans.
• Familiarity with Canadian and/or American pension plans.
• Experience in configuring retirement benefit calculation engines.
• Proficiency in retirement benefit calculations.
• Bilingual in French and English (both oral and written).
• Strong Excel skills.
• Willingness to travel to Canada and the United States.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps or similar work management tools is an asset.
• Familiarity with VBA programming is a plus.
• Continuing education in actuarial science is advantageous.
