This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Dominican Republic.

📋 Description

• Offer compassionate listening, emotional assistance, and guidance to individuals affected by Alzheimer’s disease and related conditions, as well as their families.

• Provide education on dementia, coping mechanisms, and assistance with resource navigation.

• Assess callers using a systematic support model, which includes escalation procedures.

• Record interactions in the care management system.

• Arrange follow-up communications and transitions as necessary.

• Collaborate effectively with the clinical team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Educational background in social work, psychology, nursing, counseling, caregiver support, or similar fields.

• Experience in assisting older adults, caregivers, and individuals living with cognitive and behavioral disorders, including dementia, complex care, or mental health issues.

• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

• Capability to manage emotional discussions with composure and empathy.

• Availability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.

• Access to a reliable internet connection and a quiet/private workspace for remote work.

• Previous experience in dementia care or caregiver support is preferred.

• Experience in telehealth, call centers, or hotlines is preferred.

• Familiarity with the U.S. healthcare system is advantageous but not mandatory.
