Bilingual Nurse Case Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee patient reimbursement and coordination cases for the NavieGo branch.

• Act as the primary contact for designated healthcare providers.

• Facilitate the complete patient treatment journey and communication between all parties involved.

• Manage prescription drug coverage and reimbursement processes with insurance companies and public funding programs.

• Accurately complete and submit necessary documents and paperwork in a timely manner.

• Collaborate with insurance companies, physicians’ offices, and healthcare professionals.

• Organize clinic appointments and medication deliveries within specified timelines.

• Assist and guide patients and healthcare providers throughout the reimbursement process.

• Establish trusting relationships with both patients and healthcare providers.

• Implement best practices to enhance patient access to drug coverage.

• Coordinate pharmacy activities once funding is secured.

• Utilize knowledge of public and private funding systems.

• Work with internal teams to optimize reimbursement processes and boost efficiency.

• Improve patient experience and satisfaction.


⛳️ Requirements

• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience is required.

• Must be a qualified Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Registered Practical Nurse holding a valid license.

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer/client service and healthcare reimbursement is essential.

• Prior experience in oncology is preferred.

• Background in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or insurance sectors is advantageous.

• Bilingualism in French and English is mandatory.

• Proficiency in English is required.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality while managing sensitive information.

• Strong skills in Microsoft and Google applications, including Google apps, Word, and Excel.

• Availability to work rotating shifts from Monday to Friday, between 8 AM and 8 PM.

• Capable of organizing schedules, prioritizing tasks, multitasking, and meeting competing deadlines.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.

• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
