Bilingual Cruise Reservation Agent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Address customer inquiries and calls with promptness, politeness, and professionalism.

• Accurately manage bookings, reservations, and modifications.

• Support customers throughout the booking journey.

• Drive revenue and meet sales objectives.

• Play a role in achieving call center KPIs and personal performance goals.

• Spot opportunities to promote products and services that cater to customer needs.

• Deliver outstanding customer service and foster a positive customer experience.

• Keep updated on products, services, promotions, procedures, and technologies.

• Recognize and address challenges effectively.

• Participate in ongoing departmental enhancements.

• Market comprehensive multi-destination packages and à la carte options.

• Follow up with suppliers and travel agents regarding files.

• Ensure timely follow-up on payments.

• Generate and monitor sales reports.

• Execute other related tasks as assigned by management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written.

• Strong communication abilities.

• Diploma from a Travel/Tourism school or equivalent experience in the travel industry.

• Up to one year of relevant on-the-job experience or similar responsibilities preferred.

• OPC/TICO certification is a plus.

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

• Display professionalism and patience.

• Capacity to work collaboratively and independently.

• Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Skill in managing stress effectively.

• Proven selling abilities and a results-oriented mindset.

• General geographic knowledge.

• Familiarity with the travel industry.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn new software.

• Knowledge of Sabre is advantageous.

• Availability for rotating shifts Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–8:00 pm ET, and Saturday, 10:00 am–4:00 pm ET.

• Commitment to 37.5 hours per week.
