📋 Description

• Manage auto loan accounts that are under 30 days delinquent.

• Adhere to and enforce company policies and procedures along with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).

• Negotiate payment plans with borrowers.

• Recommend strategies for borrowers to fulfill their loan commitments and suggest alternative payment options.

• Set up payment processes.

• Support borrowers in developing plans to retain their vehicle while fulfilling loan obligations.

• Document account details and collection actions accurately and professionally.

• Employ skip tracing tools and reference materials to find and identify delinquent borrowers.

• Carry out additional tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 1 year of experience in collections, ideally within the subprime consumer lending sector.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.

• Capacity to read, interpret, and apply applicable federal, state, and local collections regulations.

• Ability to engage with customers in a professional, tactful, and empathetic manner.

• Proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced work environment, both independently and as part of a team.

• Willingness to work a flexible schedule and overtime when necessary.

• High School Diploma or GED is required.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is mandatory.
