📋 Description

• Manage auto loan accounts that are 30–60 days overdue.

• Record all collection efforts using loan servicing software.

• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).

• Negotiate payment plans with borrowers, including offering solutions to fulfill loan responsibilities, suggesting alternative payment options, and setting up payment procedures.

• Support borrowers in creating strategies to retain their vehicles while fulfilling loan commitments.

• Precisely and professionally document account details and collection actions.

• Employ skip tracing tools and resources to identify and track down delinquent borrowers.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the collections sector, ideally within the subprime consumer lending field.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to read, interpret, and apply federal, state, and local collections regulations.

• Proficient in engaging with customers in a professional, tactful, and considerate manner.

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment and work both independently and collaboratively.

• Willingness to work a flexible schedule and overtime when necessary.

• High School Diploma or GED is required.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is mandatory.
