Spanish Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver precise consecutive interpretation from English to Spanish via over-the-phone interpretation (OPI) and video remote interpretation (VRI).

• Provide interpretation services in medical, social services, customer care, and financial environments.

• Facilitate effective communication between healthcare providers and patients.

• Ensure immediate accuracy while interpreting from a remote location.

• Adhere to a structured work schedule of 5 days with 2 days off.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in remote English-Spanish OPI/VRI interpretation is essential.

• Native-level proficiency in both English and Spanish.

• Excellent active listening skills.

• Strong understanding of medical terminology.

• Familiarity with patient privacy standards and HIPAA regulations.

• Ethernet connection directly to the router is mandatory; Wi-Fi is not allowed.

• A client-approved USB headset is required; Bluetooth, mono, and built-in microphones are not permitted.

• Accepted headset models include Logitech H390, Jabra GN, Jabra Evolve, Microsoft LifeChat LX-6000, Plantronics Blackwire C3220, Dell Plantronics, and HP Stereo USB Headset G2.

• Must have an Intel i5 processor, 6th Generation or newer.

• A webcam with 720p or 1080p resolution is required.

• Use of updated browsers such as Chrome, Safari, Edge, or Firefox is necessary.
