Experienced Spanish Interpreter – LATAM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Deliver precise consecutive interpretation primarily in medical environments.

• Provide interpretation services for social services, customer care, and financial sectors.

• Uphold complete neutrality and confidentiality at all times.

• Begin with over-the-phone interpretation (OPI).

• Progress through a defined pathway to video remote interpretation (VRI).

• Assist organizations in various fields, including healthcare, legal, financial, customer service, and social services.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6–12+ months of experience in remote medical interpretation.

• C1 English proficiency level, validated through EF SET 4-Skill, TOEFL, or CAE.

• Preferred certifications include ALTA (9+) or LanguageStat/PICSI (75%–80%+), issued within the past 12 months.

• Strong knowledge of medical and customer service terminology.

• Certified in HIPAA and FWA, or willing to obtain certification.

• Clean background check required.

• Must have a hardwired Ethernet connection; Wi-Fi is not acceptable.

• USB noise-canceling headset required.

• Operating system must be Windows 10 or newer with a minimum of 4GB RAM.

• Need a private and quiet workspace.

• Candidates must reside in Latin America.

• Proficiency in interpreting both English and Spanish.
