Experienced Spanish Interpreter – LATAM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Deliver precise consecutive interpretation primarily in medical environments.

• Provide interpretation services for social services, customer care, and financial clients.

• Uphold complete impartiality and confidentiality in all interactions.

• Begin with over-the-phone interpretation (OPI) and have a clear pathway to video remote interpretation (VRI).

⛳️ Requirements

• 6–12+ months of experience in remote medical interpretation.

• C1 English proficiency level (EF SET 4-Skill, TOEFL, or CAE).

• Preferred certification from ALTA (9+) or LanguageStat/PICSI (75%–80%+) issued within the past 12 months.

• Mastery of medical and customer service terminology.

• HIPAA & FWA certified or willing to obtain certification.

• Clean background check is required.

• Hardwired Ethernet connection required; Wi-Fi is not acceptable.

• USB noise-canceling headset is mandatory.

• Must have Windows 10+ with at least 4GB RAM.

• A private, quiet workspace is necessary.
