Experienced Spanish Interpreter – LATAM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Deliver precise consecutive interpretation mainly in medical environments.

• Provide interpretation services for clients in social services, customer care, and financial sectors.

• Uphold full impartiality and confidentiality in all interactions.

• Begin with over-the-phone interpretation (OPI) leading to opportunities in video remote interpretation (VRI).

• Achieve monthly minimum interpreted minutes.

• Facilitate communication in healthcare, legal, financial, customer service, and social service contexts.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6–12+ months of experience in remote medical interpretation.

• C1 English proficiency level (EF SET 4-Skill, TOEFL, or CAE).

• Preferred certifications: ALTA (9+) or LanguageStat/PICSI (75%–80%+) obtained within the last 12 months.

• Expertise in medical and customer service terminology.

• HIPAA and FWA certified, or willing to acquire certifications.

• Clear background check required.

• Hardwired Ethernet connection required (Wi-Fi is not acceptable).

• USB noise-canceling headset necessary.

• Operating system: Windows 10+ with a minimum of 4GB RAM.

• A private, quiet workspace is essential.

• Capability to work as an English-Spanish interpreter in Latin America.
