Senior Solutions Engineer – Healthcare & Life Sciences

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conducts research to prepare for forthcoming meetings with prospects, gaining insights into their business environment, market dynamics, customers, competitors, and overarching business challenges.

• Engages in discovery conversations with clients to comprehend their needs and requirements for new solutions. Identifies customer pain points, learns about their objectives and potential needs, and gathers metrics essential for pricing and value discussions. Actively listens to the customer to collect information that can be utilized in future presentations.

• Leverages extensive knowledge of Talkdesk solutions and capabilities to recommend the most suitable solution(s) for customer requirements. The Solutions Engineer continuously updates their understanding of Talkdesk offerings to stay informed about innovations and new releases of TD software.

• Creates and delivers presentations to customers, both on-site and virtually, showcasing Talkdesk’s capabilities in alignment with the customer’s identified pains and needs from the discovery phase.

• Develops straightforward value statements that illustrate the financial benefits of a Talkdesk solution to clients.

• Provides assistance in scoping Statements of Work (SOWs) for customer implementations as required.

• Plans, executes, and manages customer pilots and Proofs of Concept (POCs).

• Responds to functional and technical Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements, mapping those requirements to the software solution.

• Collaborates closely with product management and engineering teams to ensure that customer feedback is integrated into product roadmaps.

• Supports marketing and demand generation events as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 8 years of experience as a Solutions Engineer in Software, VOIP/Telecommunications, contact centers, or selling premises or cloud solutions to Commercial or Enterprise clients.

• Proven ability to capture attention in a room through engaging presentations and demonstrations.

• Strong problem-solving skills, including the capacity to align business requirements with technical solutions.

• Proficient in communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to lead technical discussions and demonstrations with customers.

• Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management Software, IT Service Management, Data Warehousing, and Business Intelligence is advantageous.

• Knowledge of UCaaS and CCaaS software is a plus.

• Proficiency in web/scripting technologies is a plus.
