This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia, +1 more country.
• Participate in customer discovery calls to gain insights into workflows, systems, data, and challenges.
• Understand frontline processes, rules, and exceptions, and convert them into clear logic.
• Evaluate technical feasibility and identify where human oversight is necessary.
• Transform customer requirements into solution designs, estimates, and project scopes.
• Develop proofs of concept and conduct customer demonstrations.
• Calculate model usage, infrastructure, and ongoing maintenance costs.
• Design, create, and implement AI agents and automation for complex customer operation workflows.
• Integrate CRMs, ERPs, accounting systems, email, messaging, and document storage via APIs or browser automation.
• Write high-quality Python code for integrations, data transformation, and agent tools.
• Utilize SQL for output validation, record reconciliation, and accuracy measurement.
• Implement error handling, retries, idempotency, logging, alerting, and graceful fallback mechanisms.
• Establish testing and evaluation processes, regression checks, and accuracy monitoring.
• Architect isolated customer data, credentials, and permissions securely.
• Transition live agents to Operations Managers with comprehensive runbooks, dashboards, review queues, and escalation paths.
• Train Operations Managers to oversee agent outputs and manage routine exceptions.
• Act as a technical escalation point for agent failures and changes in customer systems.
• Develop reusable components, templates, and deployment strategies.
• Measure and report on customer impact, including time saved, turnaround times, error rates, and costs per operation.
• Establish workflow baselines and deliver ongoing measurable improvements.
• Reduce the time from signed agreement to tangible customer results.
• Assist in renewals and expansions through sustainable customer outcomes.
• Several years of experience in professional software engineering, solutions engineering, or automation engineering.
• Evidence of recent production-level LLM workflows created with Claude, OpenAI, or similar platforms that are utilized by real users.
• Proficient in Python, with capabilities in structuring, testing, and debugging code.
• Strong SQL skills, including expertise in joins, CTEs, window functions, and data quality troubleshooting.
• Experience with browser automation using Playwright or a comparable tool.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth, pagination, and rate limits.
• Proven track record of troubleshooting production failures using logs and stack traces.
• Comfortable using Bash and the command line interface.
• Experience with Git and version control systems.
• Skills in workflow discovery and the ability to articulate tacit knowledge into explicit rules.
• Empathy for operators and the capability to explain technical trade-offs in simple language.
• Comfortable in customer-facing technical roles.
• Strong documentation practices.
• Nice to have: Experience with Claude API, Claude Agent SDK, or Claude Code.
• Nice to have: Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and Node.js.
• Nice to have: Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Nice to have: Experience with tool-using AI agents.
• Nice to have: Background in solutions engineering, sales engineering, consulting, or agency work.
• Nice to have: Integration experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, NetSuite, QuickBooks, Microsoft 365, or Google Workspace.
• Nice to have: Familiarity with automation tools like n8n, Make, or Zapier.
• Nice to have: Deployment experience on AWS, GCP, or Azure, including containers and serverless functions.
• Nice to have: Understanding of multi-tenant architecture and security reviews, including SOC 2 and customer data protection.
• Nice to have: Experience in document and data extraction.
• Nice to have: Background in finance, accounting, or back-office operations.
• Nice to have: Experience working with distributed, international teams.
• Must provide walkthrough of a shipped LLM workflow or automation.
• Must complete a practical debugging and hardening task.
• Must engage in a mock customer discovery session.
