AI Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Transform AI and automation possibilities into actionable, measurable business capabilities within Accounting, Corporate Secretarial, Compliance, Sales, Marketing, HR, and Finance.

• Navigate ambiguous manual processes from the stages of discovery and specification all the way through coding, deployment, monitoring, support, and handover.

• Achieve the delivery of at least three complete end-to-end business automations during the first six months.

• Develop solutions using LLM APIs and SDKs, databases and warehouses, accounting APIs, Slack, document-generation workflows, and scheduled jobs.

• Enhance and stabilize existing automation solutions.

• Aim for an annualized value of SGD $100,000+ over a period of 12 months.

• Establish baseline metrics and ROI before commencing development.

• Monitor usage, expenses, adoption rates, and overall business impact.

• Scale impactful solutions while discontinuing low-impact projects.

• Design low-code or configuration-driven interfaces that cater to non-technical teams.

• Provide comprehensive documentation, safeguards, rollback procedures, and training for power users.

• Sustain core code and infrastructure under technical stewardship.

• Utilize company-owned credentials to prevent single points of failure.

• Cultivate relationships with stakeholders across Sleek’s four markets.

• Conduct discovery sessions with subject-matter experts and convert ambiguous requirements into actionable specifications.

• Proactively identify opportunities and effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical colleagues and senior leadership.

• Participate in interviews and reference checks as part of the hiring process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of professional experience in technology or industry.

• At least 4 years of practical software development and coding experience.

• Demonstrated capability to independently build, deploy, monitor, debug, and support production software.

• Strong practical experience in Python development.

• Proven track record in creating and deploying production LLM-based systems for real users.

• Current hands-on experience with coding tools like Claude Code, Cursor, Replit, Codex, or similar tools.

• Notable experience in developing AI-driven automations, agents, workflows, or applications that address real business challenges.

• Comfortable working with SQL, data warehouses, third-party APIs, various file formats, and business-system integrations.

• Experience in building a system or significant application from scratch and overseeing it through production.

• Proven ability to empower non-technical colleagues or business teams to independently manage or extend a tool.

• Experience collaborating directly with non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements, define solutions, and set expectations.

• Capability to establish business baselines, create ROI cases, and evaluate automation value.

• Background in startup, scale-up, or smaller team settings.
