This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor for clients, prospective clients, and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Sales and Account Executives during consultative discovery, technical discussions, and product demonstrations.
• Identify and document customer challenges, desired outcomes, technical specifications, decision criteria, timelines, stakeholders, and risks.
• Contribute clinical and technical knowledge to presentations, proposals, RFP responses, security assessments, and technical questionnaires.
• Evaluate client healthcare data ecosystems, system architecture, interface design, interoperability, AI, IoT, and predictive analytics environments.
• Confirm technical requirements with client stakeholders and internal MIC teams.
• Offer guidance on networking, security, authentication, user provisioning, interfaces, integrations, and data requirements.
• Create and maintain documentation for architecture, interface, data requirements, risks, dependencies, and technical decisions.
• Provide on-site technical support, including interface troubleshooting, log reviews, certificate installations, and resolution of integration issues.
• Facilitate organized transitions to Implementation and support successful deployments and customer adoption.
• Communicate customer requirements, challenges, success criteria, and opportunities to internal teams.
• Identify further use cases, integrations, deployment opportunities, and account growth possibilities.
• Offer product development and roadmap input based on customer needs, standards, regulatory requirements, scalability, and market trends.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Research, Analytics, AI, and Implementation teams on custom projects and integrations.
• Manage multiple sales opportunities, projects, and client initiatives while maintaining accurate documentation and prioritizing tasks.
• Operate independently in a remote setting and travel to client locations and business-related events as necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or clinical discipline, or a relevant combination of education and experience.
• Eight or more years of experience in healthcare IT, clinical technology, clinical informatics, or a related healthcare field.
• Proven knowledge of computer networks, systems architecture, and technical integrations.
• Experience with security, authentication, and user provisioning requirements.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to convey complex clinical and technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience managing multiple priorities and working autonomously in a remote environment.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% and work outside standard business hours when necessary.
• A Master’s degree in clinical engineering, clinical informatics, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience with medical devices or Software as a Medical Device is preferred.
• Familiarity with HL7, healthcare interfaces, or other healthcare interoperability standards is preferred.
• Experience with clinical workflows, healthcare data flows, or electronic medical record and clinical information systems is preferred.
• Experience with web and cloud architecture is preferred.
• Experience supporting analytics, research, AI, or data-driven healthcare projects is preferred.
• Experience with complex enterprise software implementations or technical sales is preferred.
• Successful candidates will need to complete a background investigation.
