This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Act as the main point of contact for designated clients, maintaining executive-level relationships and overseeing daily operations.
• Conduct analysis and modeling of the parcel network for network assessments, carrier contract decisions, and optimization strategies.
• Discover opportunities for cost and service enhancements and monitor projected and actual savings with clients.
• Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations that convert complex shipping data into actionable insights.
• Present findings and recommendations to analysts, operations managers, senior executives, and C-suite executives.
• Facilitate regular and ad hoc meetings with customers, prioritizing issues, assigning action items, and ensuring accountability.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Solutions Engineers by establishing objectives and KPIs, offering feedback, and supporting their development plans.
• Construct scalable financial tools and models for business reviews, strategic planning, and forecasting.
• Design and automate analytical models and delivery processes to enhance scalability, quality, and speed of insights.
• Assist in business development and pre-sales functions by formulating solutions, business cases, and proposals.
• Serve as a liaison between carriers and clients to address billing and contract-related issues.
• Ensure that reports, models, and deliverables are thoroughly tested and quality-checked prior to reaching clients.
• Over 5 years of experience in customer-facing account management within transportation, parcel, logistics, or supply chain, including experience in leading analytical initiatives.
• Proven track record of managing executive-level customer relationships and effectively communicating complex insights.
• Excellent analytical skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL, capable of deriving insights from large data sets.
• Experience in leading, coaching, mentoring, and developing team members.
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, MIS, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to remain customer-centric and effective in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment.
• Strong sense of ownership, shown by meeting deadlines, taking accountability, and viewing mistakes as learning opportunities.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence tools.
• Experience in transportation optimization, carrier pricing, or parcel analytics.
• Advanced knowledge in financial forecasting and process automation.
• Background in project management and business development.
• Consulting experience, especially with enterprise or Fortune 500 clients.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
