Senior SBA Business Development Officer – Education Franchise

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +8 more states.

📋 Description

• Promote a comprehensive array of banking services to businesses eligible for Small Business Administration (SBA) loans.

• Emphasize client engagement, SBA loan origination, and analytical tasks.

• Facilitate the origination of SBA loans generally between $350K to $5MM.

• Analyze financial statements and associated documentation.

• Formulate SBA loan proposals.

• Conduct preliminary analysis.

• Assemble credit packages.

• Ensure adherence to relevant federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as agency guidelines and organizational policies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or the equivalent of 4 years of experience in SBA lending.

• At least 5 years of experience in SBA/Business/Commercial lending.

• A degree in Business or Finance is preferred.

• Proven experience in originating SBA loans.

• Familiarity with commercial loan underwriting platforms.

• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal abilities.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills (face-to-face and via phone), including a professional tone and demeanor.

• Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.

• Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Proficiency in PC usage and internet navigation.
