This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities for Strategic Communications, which includes Nuclear C3, National C3, and related markets.
• Guide capture teams through the processes of opportunity identification, qualification, competitive positioning, strategy development, and proposal writing.
• Foster and sustain relationships with customers to comprehend their needs and priorities.
• Create and implement contact plans that involve engagements with senior executives.
• Provide counsel to the organization on DoD and National Communications operational concepts, encompassing satellite and terrestrial communications systems.
• Work in conjunction with program management and engineering teams to devise solutions for complex customer challenges.
• Develop pursuit and account strategies.
• Deliver precise and timely forecasts of orders.
• Assess customer requirements and conduct competitive evaluations.
• Suggest price-to-win strategies for pursuits.
• Travel to support business development initiatives and customer interactions.
• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 years of experience, or at least 7 years of experience with an advanced degree.
• Familiarity with NC3 systems, National Leadership Command Capability, and Senior Leader Communications capabilities.
• Previous experience with Radio Frequency (RF) products, voice and video conferencing, military Satcom, and terrestrial networking.
• An active and transferable U.S. government-issued Top Secret security clearance is required before the start date.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
• Experience with the DoD budget and acquisition requirements processes is preferred.
• Prior work experience with USSTRATCOM, OSD A&S, Service Headquarters (OPNAV/SecNav or HAF/SAF), DISA, or Joint Staff is preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 25–30% of the time.
