This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +26 more states.
• Perform advanced research and analysis for significant target brands and categories.
• Spearhead top-of-funnel prospecting initiatives and actively create new business opportunities.
• Analyze category trends, competitive environments, and business performance to assess strategic alignment and potential opportunities.
• Execute content, full-funnel media, and retail/operations audits while providing actionable recommendations.
• Independently oversee the complete pitch process, including high-stakes opportunities ranging from $10M to $100M in revenue.
• Create and deliver tailored, insight-driven strategies and solutions.
• Act as a subject matter expert and consultant on Amazon growth strategies across retail, operations, and advertising.
• Manage communication with prospective clients and advance opportunities through the sales pipeline.
• Establish relationships with potential clients, emerging brands, Amazon stakeholders, and platform partners.
• Foster connections through industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
• Oversee the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition to internal teams.
• Lead contract negotiations concerning scope, pricing, and terms in collaboration with leadership, finance, and legal teams.
• Track sales pipeline, revenue forecasts, and performance metrics; provide updates to leadership.
• Share insights on industry trends, Amazon innovations, and emerging opportunities.
• Collaborate with media, content, analytics, and retail/operations teams.
• Mentor and lead junior team members.
• Develop and enhance business materials, research, and go-to-market strategies.
• Travel up to 30% of the time.
• 8–12+ years of experience in customer-facing roles in business development, sales, brand management, or consulting within CPG, eCommerce, retail, or comparable sectors.
• Proven history of independently pitching, closing, and securing new business, managing the complete sales cycle from prospecting to deal execution.
• Demonstrated success in leading and converting high-value opportunities, including deals of $10M and above.
• Recent experience managing Amazon businesses within the past 18–24 months.
• In-depth understanding of the Amazon ecosystem across Seller, Vendor, and Advertising platforms.
• Proven experience in conducting content, media, and retail/operations audits with actionable recommendations.
• Exceptional relationship-building abilities with both clients and internal stakeholders, including those at the executive level.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making capabilities.
• A proactive ownership mindset with a tendency for action and the ability to work independently.
• Demonstrated capability to influence stakeholders and independently manage complex customer engagements.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite.
