This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Develop and take ownership of the product strategy for edge data center solutions.
• Perform market research, evaluate competitor offerings, and identify new opportunities.
• Create and uphold a product roadmap that aligns with the company's objectives.
• Conduct customer interviews, collect feedback, and analyze market trends.
• Transform customer insights and market data into product requirements and feature prioritization.
• Draft product requirements documents and use case narratives.
• Collaborate with asset development, NOC, engineering, marketing, and other stakeholders to devise product solutions.
• Research and interview potential vendors to qualify suitable candidates for onboarding.
• Investigate the development of new indirect sales channels, including partnerships with Calix, Nokia, and NCTC.
• Partner with engineering, sales, marketing, and operations teams on product development and launch initiatives.
• Formulate and implement go-to-market strategies, encompassing product positioning, messaging, and sales enablement resources.
• Oversee the product lifecycle from ideation and development to launch, adoption, and end-of-life.
• Track KPIs, SLAs, delivery timelines, and customer feedback to enhance products.
• Present product strategies, roadmaps, and updates to internal stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Over 5 years of experience in product management, with a robust background in infrastructure, cloud, fiber infrastructure, or data center solutions.
• Profound knowledge of edge computing, data centers, fiber infrastructure, and networking.
• Experience with hardware, software, and services related to distributed computing is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to create and execute a product roadmap.
• Strong analytical abilities with the capacity to utilize data to inform decisions and prioritize features.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Documented history of successful collaboration with engineering, sales, and marketing teams.
• Self-motivated individual with a high level of ownership and a proactive approach.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• Experience in a rapidly growing, fast-paced startup environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies such as 5G, IoT, and AI/ML is preferred.
• Capability to stoop, bend, kneel, or crouch.
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit.
• Capacity to reach with hands and arms.
• Visual acuity correctable to 20/20.
• Ability to sit for up to 90% of the day.
• Capability to respond verbally in a clear, professional manner both in person and over the phone.
• Manual dexterity for data entry into computer systems and operating necessary equipment.
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 15 pounds.
