This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.
β’ Formulate and implement long-term growth strategies for the Tactical Data Links (TDL) and Telemetry & RF Systems (T&RF) portfolios.
β’ Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in the DoD, coalition, and industry sectors.
β’ Recognize emerging mission requirements, capability deficiencies, and adjacent market opportunities.
β’ Collaborate with Engineering and Product Management to outline product roadmaps, influence IRAD investments, and convert customer needs into technical solutions.
β’ Act as the technical business development lead for TDL and T&RF technologies, which include Link 16, MIDS, resilient communications, tactical networking, CJADC2, coalition interoperability, and software-defined radio solutions.
β’ Oversee technical and business evaluations of new opportunities.
β’ Create business cases and strategies for capture through funded programs and successful contract acquisitions.
β’ Influence acquisition and funding strategies utilizing Programs of Record, OTAs, SBIR, CRADAs, FMS, experimentation, and various government transition pathways.
β’ Maintain intelligence on market trends, budgets, competition, and technology.
β’ Provide cross-functional leadership across Engineering, Product Management, Programs, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Contracts, Finance, and Business Development.
β’ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Business, or a related technical field.
β’ At least 12 years of experience in aerospace, defense, tactical communications, networking, or mission systems; or a minimum of 16 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
β’ Proven experience in Business Development, Strategy, Engineering, Product Management, Capture Management, or Program Management.
β’ Experience collaborating with U.S. Department of Defense acquisition organizations.
β’ Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally.
β’ In-depth knowledge of Tactical Data Links and Link 16 technologies.
β’ Strong understanding of resilient communications architectures and tactical networking.
β’ Experience in formulating strategic growth plans and creating new business initiatives.
β’ Background in supporting PMA-101 (MIDS Program Office).
β’ Familiarity with Joint and Coalition Tactical Data Link architectures.
β’ Experience with CJADC2 initiatives and resilient communications.
β’ Knowledge of Software Defined Radio architectures and waveform integration.
β’ Experience in platform integration across airborne, maritime, ground, and autonomous systems.
β’ Familiarity with DIU, DARPA, Service Labs, experimentation events, and rapid acquisition organizations.
β’ Understanding of Foreign Military Sales and international defense markets.
β’ Experience in developing technology transition strategies from IRAD to production programs.
