Patient Care Coordinator – Bilingual Preferred

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional customer service and effective service delivery to clients and patients by processing referrals for medical goods and services.

• Contact patients regarding new or ongoing referrals to verify demographic information, provide updates, and confirm the delivery of goods or services.

• Liaise with vendor partners, claims adjusters, and nurse case managers to share updates on both new and existing referrals.

• Source vendor partners for each referral based on the requested goods or services.

• Handle incoming and outgoing calls concerning existing referrals, new referrals, or referrals from team members.

• Generate quotes for clients' approval and follow up on previously sent quotes to secure written approval for requested referrals, ensuring each referral is medically necessary and authorized by the claims adjuster.

• Verify that all necessary billing information is included with each referral as per the established workflow and billing procedures, and transition those referrals to be billed daily.

• Process referrals in accordance with state regulations and workers' compensation guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is mandatory.

• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in healthcare network and patient care scheduling, or a comparable combination of education and experience is needed.

• Excellent customer service abilities.

• Strong critical thinking capabilities.

• Self-motivated and proactive.

• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.

• Proficient in PC use, including Microsoft Office applications.

• Possess analytical and interpretive abilities.

• Strong organizational skills are essential.

• Excellent interpersonal abilities.

• Capable of creating and completing detailed, accurate, and constructive written reports.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
