This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +43 more states.
• Oversee the global Mars snacking account and develop the overall account strategy.
• Take ownership of and implement the 3 to 5-year Joint Business Plan.
• Coordinate account strategies, growth initiatives, budgets, and commercial goals with regional and business unit leaders.
• Leverage Amcor's capabilities across Flexibles, Cartons, and Rigids.
• Discover opportunities to enhance Amcor’s business share across various regions, products, and business divisions.
• Drive packaging portfolio transformation with a focus on innovation, simplification, sustainability, and optimizing total costs.
• Create customer-specific value propositions utilizing data and business insights.
• Build and oversee a pipeline of growth opportunities from concept to execution.
• Cultivate trusted relationships with senior stakeholders at Mars globally.
• Facilitate strategic customer meetings and engage with key decision-makers.
• Advocate for the customer internally and align with R&D, Sustainability, Supply Chain, Operations, Quality, Marketing, and other departments.
• Manage account commercial performance and ensure profitability.
• Set sales, growth, and margin objectives.
• Track performance, identify deficiencies, and coordinate action plans accordingly.
• Provide updates to senior leadership on account performance and the progress of the Joint Business Plan.
• Lead, mentor, and develop commercial professionals supporting the account.
• Foster collaboration and accountability across business, regional, and functional lines.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related discipline.
• Over 7 years of progressive experience in sales, marketing, commercial leadership, or a comparable role.
• Willingness to travel up to 40%, including occasional international trips.
• Experience in managing large, complex strategic accounts or commercial projects, ideally across multiple regions.
• Background in packaging, food, healthcare, or another intricate manufacturing sector is preferred.
• Familiarity with flexible packaging, manufacturing technologies, and production processes is advantageous.
• Strong business and financial aptitude.
• Demonstrated ability to formulate strategy and translate it into measurable outcomes.
• Proven project management abilities and capacity to handle multiple priorities.
• Customer-centric, solutions-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across various functions, seniority levels, cultures, and geographic locations.
• Collaborative leadership style with a focus on accountability for results.
• Comfortable working across global time zones and diverse cultures.
