Freelance Translator, English to Uzbek

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Convert medical benefits materials from English to Uzbek (Uzbekistan, Latin)

• Become a part of a preferred language specialist team aiding clients in the upcoming months

• Participate in Translation, MTPE, and Proofreading/QM assessments as a component of the selection process

• Agree to a confidentiality agreement/NDA

• Provide an updated CV outlining relevant experience and suggested per-word rates

• Operate under strict deadlines while ensuring accuracy, spelling, grammar, and professionalism

⛳️ Requirements

• Native Uzbek speaker

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities in English

• Demonstrated experience in translating Medical Benefits content

• Exceptional attention to detail, spelling, and grammar

• Capability to uphold professionalism under tight deadlines

• Candidates must meet one of the following criteria: a degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies (or an equivalent degree with substantial translation training) from a recognized institution; 2 years of translation experience paired with a college degree; 5 years of translation experience without a college degree; or a certificate of competence in translation issued by an appropriate government authority

• Willingness to sign a confidentiality agreement/NDA

• Completion of Translation, MTPE, and Proofreading/QM tests is mandatory

• CV should detail relevant experience in Translation, MTPE, and Proofreading/QM along with proposed rates in USD
