Freelance Dutch Linguist – IT & Software Project

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Conduct Machine Translation Post-Editing (MTPE) for Catalan content.

• Occasionally provide human translation as needed.

• Review and refine translated materials to ensure linguistic precision, fluency, consistency, and naturalness.

• Work on IT and software-related documentation, adhering to specific project guidelines and terminology.

• Engage in long-term collaboration on international localization projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Dutch at a native level.

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a linguist, translator, or MTPE specialist.

• Demonstrated experience in IT/software localization.

• Excellent understanding of Dutch grammar, style, and terminology.

• Strong attention to detail with an ability to maintain consistency across extensive content.

• Capacity to work independently and adhere to agreed deadlines.

• Familiarity with CAT tools and localization workflows is highly advantageous.
