English to Greek Linguist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece.

📋 Description

• Translate and review patent-related materials from English to Greek.

• Accurately convey the original meaning in a clear and comprehensible way for the intended audience.

• Ensure that the style is appropriate for the client.

• Adhere to translation processes and follow CAT-tool usage guidelines.

• Carry out translation and quality control tasks.

• Communicate effectively and respond promptly in English.

• Work on patent content across various fields including Mechanics, Computer Science, Electricity, and Chemistry.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native fluency in Greek.

• A degree in linguistics, translation, or equivalent experience.

• At least 2 years of experience in translating and/or editing patent documents.

• Proficient in CAT tools, particularly XTM and JIRA.

• Immediate availability is required.

• Good availability and quick response times are essential.

• Ability to communicate effectively and respond promptly in English.

• Translate into Greek with native-level fluency.

• Selected candidates will be required to complete a translation test.
