This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +16 more locations.
β’ Develop and manage the partnerships pipeline for Jerry's new product offerings from initial outreach to signed agreements and successful onboarding.
β’ Independently lead discussions with insurance carriers and partners.
β’ Assess partner compatibility and comprehend their needs.
β’ Create compelling value propositions and manage the partnership processes until closure.
β’ Innovate creative deal structures and alternative partnership models.
β’ Oversee partner success post-closing, including ramp-up, engagement, and fostering long-term relationships.
β’ Provide partner insights to inform vertical strategy and the sequencing of new product initiatives.
β’ Collaborate with teams across product, engineering, data science, legal, finance, and executive leadership.
β’ Report directly to the Vice President of Partnerships.
β’ Expand the supply side of Jerry's marketplace and establish partnerships for new business lines.
β’ Over 5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or strategy consulting.
β’ Proven track record of successfully closing complex, multi-stakeholder agreements.
β’ Experience in building from scratch, such as launching a new partnership category, entering a new market, or creating a business development function without a pre-existing model.
β’ Background that includes at least two of the following: consulting or structured problem-solving, business development or sales execution, and experience in early-stage startups.
β’ Capability to engage with senior external stakeholders and independently navigate large partner organizations.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
β’ Proficient in presenting complex deal structures in a clear and credible manner to an executive audience.
β’ Full-time salaried applicants must currently reside in AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, MA, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OR, TN, TX, UT, VA, or Ontario, Canada.
