Cellular Therapy Account Director, Southwest

📋 Description

• Lead initiatives for disease awareness during the preapproval stage.

• Establish connections with both clinical and non-clinical experts to gain insights into unmet needs and the patient journey.

• Oversee the onboarding process for an allogeneic cell therapy.

• Promote demand and enhance the treatment experience of Tab-cel within designated institutions after approval.

• Navigate intricate account environments while collaborating with medical, value and access, and cell therapy operations teams.

• Develop and implement strategic account plans based on customer insights and analytical data.

• Provide process training to treatment center staff to minimize barriers and streamline operational workflows.

• Conduct education on disease states, onboarding at sites of care, market analysis, and research activities.

• Identify and engage with medical experts in cell therapy, BMT, lymphoma, SOT, and PTLD.

• Assess onboarding requirements and map processes at cell therapy and transplant centers.

• Inform physicians about disease severity, unmet needs, standard care practices, and the patient journey.

• Create and maintain comprehensive site account plans.

• Collaborate with Pierre Fabre functions to ensure a seamless customer experience and expedited access to Tab-cel Ebvallo.

• Implement territory business plans with account-specific key performance indicators and strategies.

• Partner with service line directors, administrators, coordinators, pharmacy committees, transplant administrators, and medical societies.

• Work alongside marketing to develop US promotional materials.

• Foster relationships with key commercial stakeholders within targeted institutions.

• Support professional meetings through exhibit staffing, scientific session reporting, and meetings with medical experts.

• Enhance collaboration with field-facing teams, market access, medical affairs, and cell therapy technical operations.

• Effectively promote Tab-cel Ebvallo by leveraging knowledge of the EBV+ PTLD landscape, product information, and clinical expertise.

• Share insights on accounts and healthcare professionals, business trends, competitive dynamics, and changes in the therapeutic landscape.

• Encourage appropriate product use and educate stakeholders on the efficacy and safety of Tab-cel.

• Create a sense of urgency for treating eligible patients using approved promotional materials.

• Operate in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, policies, and US state and federal guidelines.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the biopharma sector.

• Extensive expertise in cell or gene therapy service lines.

• Proven experience working in a collaborative and complex matrix environment.

• Capability to understand and explain intricate treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated scientific aptitude.

• Sales experience in ultra-rare diseases, preferably in CGT.

• Ability to access and manage business information in compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and/or Pierre Fabre policies.

• A strong desire to impact the lives of patients positively.

• Experience launching products in high-acuity therapeutic areas, such as ultra-rare diseases (preferred).

• Established relationships within cell therapy, bone marrow transplantation, and solid organ transplantation service lines (preferred).

• Experience managing extensive territories (preferred).

• Background in rare oncology and/or transplant settings (preferred).

• Proven track record of successful account management in large academic institutions (preferred).

• Willingness to travel regularly, including overnight trips, within the assigned business territory, up to 70%.
