This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +2 more states.
• Identify, prospect, qualify, and secure new customer accounts within the designated territory.
• Develop relationships at both operational and executive levels.
• Maintain a documented sales pipeline that includes next steps, probability ratings, and timelines.
• Achieve or surpass revenue and gross margin targets for new accounts.
• Conduct site visits to assess customer operations and use cases.
• Prepare proposals, engage in ROI discussions, and create competitive bids.
• Facilitate customer onboarding and product/service adoption alongside technical and field service teams.
• Assist in contract negotiations to align with pricing and margin objectives.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer purchasing behavior.
• Relay field insights to Sales Leadership, Marketing, and Product teams.
• Maintain precise CRM records and forecast pipeline activities.
• Support the adoption of CRM workflow and reporting tools.
• Utilize sales enablement tools and stay updated on current product knowledge.
• Participate in safety and technical training initiatives.
• Coordinate product delivery, blast schedules, and customer support with field services.
• Collaborate with Marketing on lead generation and campaign efforts.
• Partner with Technical Services and Product Specialists to provide customer solutions.
• Work with Finance and Operations on revenue tracking, delivery scheduling, and credit management.
• Represent APC at industry associations, trade shows, conferences, and regional events.
• Engage in outbound marketing and lead-generation activities.
• Enhance APC’s brand reputation through professional customer communication.
• Report to the Regional Sales Manager or LLC President / VPGM.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; a High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3–5+ years of experience in outbound sales, business development, or technical industrial sales.
• Valid driver's license and a willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
• Strong proficiency in CRM systems and familiarity with structured sales processes.
• Experience in selling to construction, quarrying, mining, or other heavy industrial sectors.
• Knowledge of value-based selling, price-value discussions, and competitive differentiation.
• Ability to grasp blasting fundamentals, product specifications, relevant software tools, and regulatory requirements quickly.
• Familiarity with explosives, technical solutions, blasting services, or safety-critical industrial environments is preferred.
• Previous experience in private equity-owned businesses or organizations undergoing commercial transformation.
• Capability to work outdoors on customer sites in all weather conditions, including walking/standing and navigating uneven terrain.
• Compliance with ATF, MSHA, OSHA, DOT, and other relevant federal/state regulations is mandatory.
• Completion of all required certifications is expected.
• Must be able to travel 50–75% within the assigned territory.
