This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Cultivate and enhance relationships with owners, engineers, municipalities, developers, and other key decision-makers within the Nevada market.
• Identify, assess, and pursue new business opportunities related to pipeline and underground wet utility infrastructure.
• Generate leads and foster relationships that evolve into long-term project opportunities and secured contracts.
• Represent the company in the Las Vegas area and the wider Nevada market.
• Enhance the company's visibility and reputation in the local business and infrastructure community.
• Lead outreach, networking, and relationship-building initiatives across essential client and industry segments.
• Engage in industry associations, networking functions, and other market-facing events.
• Utilize an existing network in the Nevada market to identify and create new business opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with operations and estimating teams to support pursuits, proposals, and client relationships.
• Contribute to shaping the company's long-term business development strategy and market expansion initiatives.
• Assist with brand visibility, marketing, and social media efforts when necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• Approximately 5–10 years of experience in business development, sales, account management, or relationship-oriented roles.
• A well-established network of contacts and relationships within the Nevada and/or Las Vegas market is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to open doors, build trust, and foster long-term relationships with senior-level decision-makers.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the capability to work independently and develop a market primarily through personal initiative.
• Comfortable working remotely while maintaining a prominent presence in the target market.
• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 2–3 times per month, including regular trips to Las Vegas as well as occasional travel to Northern California and Texas.
• Background in construction, heavy civil, water infrastructure, commercial real estate, industrial sales, materials sales, or another relationship-driven industry is preferred.
• Experience supporting marketing, social media, brand visibility, or market-facing initiatives is advantageous.
• Involvement with organizations such as DBIA or AGC is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity or experience with underground wet utilities, pipeline, or water infrastructure is beneficial but not essential.
• Strong capability to collaborate with operational, estimating, and preconstruction teams.
• Base salary ranging from $200,000 to $220,000.
