This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Foster and enhance relationships with owners, engineers, municipalities, developers, and other influential decision-makers across the Nevada market.
• Discover, assess, and pursue new business prospects related to pipeline and underground wet utility infrastructure.
• Create leads and cultivate connections that evolve into enduring project opportunities and secured work.
• Act as the company representative throughout the Las Vegas area and the wider Nevada market.
• Enhance the company's visibility and standing within the local business and infrastructure community.
• Spearhead outreach, networking, and relationship-building activities across essential client and industry segments.
• Engage in industry associations, networking events, and various market-facing initiatives.
• Utilize an existing network within the Nevada market to identify and develop new opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with operations and estimating teams to support pursuits, proposals, and client engagements.
• Contribute to shaping the company's long-term business development strategies and market expansion efforts.
• Assist in promoting brand visibility, marketing, and social media initiatives as appropriate.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• Around 5–10 years of experience in business development, sales, account management, or relationship-driven roles.
• A well-established network of relationships and contacts within the Nevada and/or Las Vegas market is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to open doors, build trust, and foster long-term relationships with senior-level decision-makers.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, networking, and relationship-building abilities.
• An entrepreneurial mindset with the capability to work independently and cultivate a market largely through personal initiative.
• Comfortable with remote work while maintaining a prominent presence in the target market.
• Willingness to travel approximately 2–3 times a month, including consistent travel to Las Vegas and occasional trips to Northern California and Texas.
• Experience in construction, heavy civil, water infrastructure, commercial real estate, industrial sales, materials sales, or another relationship-driven industry is preferred.
• Experience in supporting marketing, social media, brand visibility, or market-facing initiatives is advantageous.
• Involvement with organizations such as DBIA or AGC is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity or experience with underground wet utilities, pipeline, or water infrastructure is a plus but not essential.
• Strong capability to collaborate with operational, estimating, and preconstruction teams.
• Competitive base salary ranging from $200,000–$220,000.
