This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Cultivate and enhance relationships with owners, engineers, municipalities, developers, and other influential decision-makers across the Nevada market.
• Identify, qualify, and actively seek new business opportunities related to pipeline and underground wet utility infrastructure.
• Generate leads and establish connections that evolve into enduring project opportunities and secured work.
• Act as the company’s representative in the Las Vegas area and the wider Nevada market.
• Enhance the company’s visibility and reputation within the local business and infrastructure sectors.
• Spearhead outreach, networking, and relationship-building initiatives within key client and industry segments.
• Engage in industry associations, networking events, and other market-facing engagements.
• Utilize an established network in the Nevada market to discover and generate new opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with operations and estimating teams to support business pursuits, proposals, and client relations.
• Contribute to the formulation of the company’s long-term business development strategy and market expansion initiatives.
• Assist in promoting brand visibility, marketing efforts, and social media initiatives when suitable.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• Approximately 5–10 years of experience in business development, sales, account management, or relationship-focused roles.
• A well-established network of relationships and contacts in the Nevada and/or Las Vegas market is highly preferred.
• Proven track record of opening doors, building trust, and fostering long-term relationships with senior-level decision-makers.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, networking, and relationship-building capabilities.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently and develop a market largely through personal initiative.
• Comfortable with remote work while maintaining a strong presence in the target market.
• Willingness and capacity to travel approximately 2–3 times per month, including regular trips to Las Vegas and occasional travel to Northern California and Texas.
• Experience in construction, heavy civil work, water infrastructure, commercial real estate, industrial sales, materials sales, or another relationship-intensive sector is preferred.
• Background in supporting marketing, social media, brand visibility, or market-facing projects is advantageous.
• Participation in organizations such as DBIA or AGC is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with underground wet utilities, pipelines, or water infrastructure is a plus but not essential.
• Strong ability to collaborate with operational, estimating, and preconstruction teams.
