This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Create, implement, and sustain marketing and sales strategies aligned with company and individual objectives.
• Ensure the satisfaction of existing referral sources while identifying their future fleet-management requirements.
• Design marketing initiatives and strategies aimed at attracting potential referral sources and clients.
• Identify and cultivate market areas to achieve marketing and sales targets.
• Discover and develop new prospects to secure new business opportunities.
• Offer business-to-business fleet management solutions, including fleet leasing, service programs, technology alternatives, and fleet consulting.
• Assist commercial customers in acquiring commercial fleet software and services.
• Investigate and recognize potential clients in need of fleet vehicles.
• Formulate and execute lead-generation strategies through cold outreach, industry events, professional networks, and digital marketing.
• Build and maintain client relationships to enhance satisfaction, encourage repeat business, and generate referrals.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations.
• Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and service-level agreements effectively.
• Conduct market research and keep track of industry trends, competitor actions, and customer preferences.
• Collaborate with product development, marketing, and operations teams.
• Promote vehicle leasing, maintenance, fuel license programs, outsourcing, and other supportive services.
• Discuss fleet-cycle and replacement strategies with prospective clients.
• Arrange meetings with C-suite executives and provide professional presentations.
• Secure long-term client commitments and promote sustainable growth.
• Work alongside Client Partnership Managers and the Transition Team during client onboarding.
• Provide overviews of the marketplace and competitive intelligence.
• Enhance job knowledge through educational opportunities, professional publications, networking, and professional organizations.
• Must reside in Southern or Northern California, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Texas, New York, or New Jersey.
• Bachelor's Degree or a combination of education and relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of sales experience.
• Experience in the fleet leasing industry is preferred.
• Strong comprehension of the automotive industry, including trends, vehicle types, features, and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with fleet management practices and solutions is essential.
• Demonstrated success in sales and business development.
• Exceptional negotiation, persuasion, and communication abilities.
• Proficient in executing the consultative selling process.
• Capability to manage the onboarding of new fleet customers, including initial product setup and training on Mike Albert Fleet Software, technology, and services.
• Strong business acumen with an understanding of the financial implications of equipment leasing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Active listening skills.
• Ability to craft persuasive oral and written proposals that quantify the overall impact of Mike Albert solutions.
• Results-oriented and highly innovative in positioning solutions.
• Ability to analyze client issues and devise effective sales and closing strategies.
• Capacity to establish priorities and achieve objectives.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail in managing contracts, pricing, and client information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Client Relationship Management technology.
• Willingness to support up to 50% travel.
• Flexibility to define and achieve income targets.
