This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +23 more states.
β’ Cultivate relationships and pinpoint business development opportunities through industry engagement, networking, and market insights.
β’ Act as the organization's representative at industry conferences, trade shows, association meetings, and networking events within a designated territory.
β’ Enhance company visibility and fortify relationships within targeted industry sectors.
β’ Engage in professional associations and industry communities.
β’ Assess organizational priorities, service capabilities, and market opportunities to pinpoint areas for business development engagement.
β’ Review potential opportunities against set criteria and offer recommendations.
β’ Record insights and present business development suggestions to internal stakeholders.
β’ Conduct exploratory discussions to comprehend organizational capabilities, priorities, and alignment with potential client needs.
β’ Qualify, facilitate, and progress business development opportunities.
β’ Support territory expansion through focused outreach, lead generation, and relationship cultivation.
β’ Oversee and evaluate business development activities and opportunity data.
β’ Create and implement follow-up strategies for contacts made at events and conferences.
β’ Utilize various communication channels to nurture relationships.
β’ Establish and manage relationships with prospective clients.
β’ Investigate and evaluate industry trends, market advancements, and competitor actions.
β’ Collect and disseminate market intelligence from conferences, events, and professional networks.
β’ Undertake other responsibilities as assigned.
β’ Travel as necessary.
β’ A Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field is preferred.
β’ A minimum of two (2) years of experience in business development, sales support, account management, client engagement, customer success, or a comparable role.
β’ Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
β’ Capacity to engage professionally with executives, clients, industry leaders, and stakeholders.
β’ Proficient relationship-building and active listening skills.
β’ Familiarity with CRM platforms and sales engagement tools.
β’ Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar tools is preferred.
β’ Strong organizational and time management skills.
β’ Travel as necessary.
