This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +36 more states.
β’ Continuously achieve or surpass targets by expanding the Amex Offers & Ads merchant advertiser portfolio and generating new business opportunities.
β’ Identify, seek out, and cultivate a strong pipeline of both new and returning merchant advertisers.
β’ Manage the entire sales process from prospecting and needs assessment to proposal creation, negotiation, and closing the deal.
β’ Employ consultative selling techniques to discover advertiser requirements, address objections, and formulate persuasive Amex Offers & Ads solutions.
β’ Establish robust, multi-level relationships with merchant advertisers and agency partners, including senior executives and C-suite decision-makers.
β’ Utilize industry trends, competitive analysis, data, measurement, and campaign performance to effectively communicate the value of Amex Offers & Ads, encouraging increased advertiser investment.
β’ Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure the successful end-to-end development, launch, and execution of advertiser campaigns.
β’ Uphold the standards set by the American Express Code of Conduct along with applicable Sales Practices policies and procedures.
β’ Over 5 years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or a similar client-facing role within digital advertising, media, or performance marketing.
β’ A proven history of constructing a solid pipeline, consistently meeting or exceeding targets, and successfully negotiating and closing deals.
β’ Strong consultative selling abilities with a talent for identifying advertiser needs, managing objections, and creating compelling solutions.
β’ Demonstrated capability to build and influence relationships at various organizational levels, including senior and C-suite executives.
β’ Deep understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, industry trends, and the needs of merchant advertisers.
β’ Proficient in translating data, insights, and complex capabilities into clear and convincing value propositions.
β’ Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
β’ Highly driven and results-oriented, with a keen attention to detail and the capability to juggle multiple priorities, adapt swiftly, and excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
β’ Bachelor's Degree is required.
β’ Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the U.S. is necessary; the company will not seek visa sponsorship for this role.
