This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +44 more states.
• Assist Business Development Managers in seeking new project opportunities by coordinating, tracking, and managing administrative workflows.
• Oversee client data room access and downloads while distributing materials to internal stakeholders.
• Submit and monitor internal system setup requests for client portals.
• Track incoming RFPs and client requests, prioritizing actions and highlighting risks or gaps.
• Aid in the development and coordination of Go/No-Go documentation for projects.
• Organize and coordinate both client-facing and internal meetings, including agendas, follow-up actions, and timelines.
• Manage and track client pipeline requests effectively.
• Monitor RFP deliverables from engineering, estimating, legal, finance, and other cross-functional teams.
• Support proposal development by entering CRM data, ensuring data integrity, and prioritizing the distribution of documents.
• Prepare, submit, and oversee budgetary pricing requests in collaboration with the estimating team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist in pursuit activities.
• Identify, suggest, and implement process enhancements within the Business Development function.
• Act as a point of contact for daily business development inquiries and escalate opportunities as necessary.
• A high school diploma is required.
• A postsecondary certificate or a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, Renewable Energy, or a related field is preferred.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in business development, sales support, project coordination, construction, engineering, or renewable energy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with CRM systems is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with a professional telephone demeanor.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn new systems and processes with a proactive, problem-solving attitude.
• Availability to travel for meetings or events, up to once a month.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.
