Bilingual Spanish Virtual Medical Scribe

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +15 more states.

📋 Description

• Prepare and compile medical record documentation and charts to assist healthcare providers.

• Virtually accompany physicians during patient visits to accurately capture and transcribe medical record documentation using electronic medical record systems.

• Update all aspects of patients’ medical records as directed by the physician.

• Document subjective and objective data, physical exams, and other relevant clinical information.

• Prepare and forward documentation to physicians for review and approval via authenticated data entry and facility-specific protocols.

• Collaborate with healthcare personnel to oversee basic lab results and screening procedures.

• Monitor lab-test timelines and follow up as needed.

• Ensure precise documentation in patient records.

• Support adherence to hospital and ProScribe policies.

• Understand and uphold HIPAA regulations and Joint Commission standards.

• Familiarize with relevant assigned-site policies and ProScribe role-specific guidelines.

• Exhibit professionalism by following attendance policies.

• Perform additional clerical tasks to enhance provider productivity and clinic workflow.

• The position may necessitate work at multiple locations throughout a scheduled work week.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be bilingual in Spanish.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Must be 18 years of age or older and authorized to work in the US.

• Successful completion of a background check and drug screening is mandatory.

• Ability to provide proof of vaccinations as required by the specific site.

• Typing speed of 45+ words per minute.

• Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English fluently.

• Part-time: available to work two shifts per week (16–24 hours total) for a minimum of 6 consecutive months.

• Full-time: available to work three shifts per week (32+ hours total) for a minimum of 12 consecutive months.

• Capability to work shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours.

• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and the ability to maintain confidential patient and client information appropriately.

• Personal computer manufactured within the last 4 years.

• High-speed internet connection with a minimum bandwidth of 20 Mbps download and 8 Mbps upload.

• Residency in a state approved for virtual work with ProScribe.

• Ability to sit for prolonged periods.

• Capability to view computer monitors with close vision, color discrimination, depth perception, and adjustable focus.

• Good hand-eye coordination.

• Proficient typing, clicking, and monitor viewing for extended durations.

• Ability to function and communicate professionally in an emotionally charged, high-stress, and diverse environment.

• Ability to operate in a fast-paced setting with potentially limited opportunities for rest or breaks.
