📋 Description

• Provide high-quality primary and urgent care to Oscar members through phone, video, and asynchronous messaging.

• Act as a supervising physician for other Advanced Practice Providers.

• Deliver virtual medical care to a patient panel aged 18 and older, adhering to Oscar Medical Group guidelines, practices, and policies.

• Address urgent care requirements in the 24/7 urgent care clinic.

• Collaborate with Medical Assistants, Registered Nurses, Behavioral Health professionals, Case Managers, and other providers across various service lines.

• Offer supervision and prescriptive authority to Advanced Practice Providers while conducting quality assurance.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

• Undertake additional duties as assigned.

• Report directly to the Medical Director of Oscar Primary Care.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess an active medical license in a state that is part of the IMLCC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact).

• Board licensed in Tennessee and Florida.

• Hold an MD or DO from an accredited medical school.

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Med/Peds.

• Proficient in Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking).

• Have 3+ years of experience in a direct outpatient primary care setting (Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Med/Peds).

• Must reside in Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, or Washington D.C.

• Availability from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm EST, five days a week, including one weekend every four weeks.

• 2+ years of Telemedicine experience is a plus.

• Licensure in additional Oscar states is an advantage.
