Bilingual Physician – Spanish, English

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +16 more states.

📋 Description

• Provide high-quality care to patients utilizing Oscar's platforms through phone and video consultations.

• Act as a supervising physician for Advanced Practice Providers.

• Ensure direct oversight and supervision of nurse practitioners and physician assistants in accordance with state regulations.

• Deliver virtual medical care via phone, video, and messaging, adhering to the guidelines, practices, and policies of the Oscar Medical Group.

• Collaborate with Medical Assistants, Registered Nurses, and other healthcare providers across different service lines.

• Comply with all relevant laws and regulations.

• Report to the Director of Virtual Health Assessment.

• Carry out additional tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.

• MD or DO from a recognized medical school.

• Proficiency in Spanish assessed through a proctored evaluation.

• Must hold a medical license in Tennessee and either Texas or Florida.

• Active IMLCC or eligible to apply.

• Willingness to obtain licenses in additional states with our support, collaborating with our licensing vendor.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in an outpatient family or internal medicine setting.

• Familiarity with value-based care documentation standards.

• Must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, or Virginia.

• Capacity to work 8-hour or 10-hour shifts.

• A late shift ending at 8 p.m. EST is required once a week.

• One Saturday shift is required each quarter.
