This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Assist Business Development Executives with the daily management of accounts.
• Prepare for and facilitate Quarterly Business Review Meetings.
• Take detailed and comprehensive notes during client meetings and provide them afterwards.
• Manage smaller client accounts directly.
• Aid the Lead Generation Manager in pinpointing global drug development targets.
• Conduct research on drug development pipelines and identify relevant contacts.
• Organize cold calls, mail campaigns, and marketing initiatives tailored to specific regions.
• Actively seek, discover, and cultivate new clinical business opportunities.
• Research drug development firms and keep their information updated in Salesforce.com.
• Make outbound calls to Contract Research Organizations (CROs), medical device companies, animal health firms, and cell & gene therapy organizations.
• Attend client meetings and produce meeting minutes within two days.
• Follow up on information requests from clients and the Global BD team.
• Address inquiries through email, website, phone, and at trade shows.
• Participate in trade shows in a supportive role as necessary.
• Coordinate PCI site visits, including arrangements for rooms, attendees, slide decks, and presentation materials.
• Represent the Business Development Executive at PCI site meetings when appropriate.
• Facilitate and manage the submission of Confidential Disclosure Agreements (CDAs) or Master Service Agreements (MSAs) to PCI and client legal teams.
• Ability to learn, comprehend, and retain information regarding PCI Clinical Services offerings.
• Excellent telephone demeanor for client interactions.
• Motivated, positive, and self-driven attitude.
• Highly organized and capable of managing short to medium-term projects.
• Willingness to work independently without supervision and from home.
• Strong problem-solving skills and capability to overcome objections.
• Interest in the healthcare industry.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Experience using Salesforce.com software.
• Familiarity with outbound calling of any kind.
• Ability to travel to client sites.
• Willingness to travel over 40% of the time.
