This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +46 more states.
• Develop and nurture relationships with large, complex accounts.
• Take ownership of the complete renewal process.
• Ensure accountability for client satisfaction and engagement.
• Lead internal teams while serving as an advocate for clients.
• Provide updates to executives regarding client statuses and potential risks.
• Represent the Customer Success team during finalist meetings.
• Analyze pharmacy claims data to uncover trends and offer cost-saving recommendations.
• Conduct quarterly and annual business reviews (QBRs).
• Create and uphold strategic action plans for clients.
• Collaborate with clinical pharmacists to discuss formulary changes and clinical program proposals.
• Keep track of drug pipelines, legislative updates, and the competitive PBM landscape.
• Review QBRs, reports, and client communications to ensure they meet executive standards.
• Work with Implementation, Operations, and Pricing teams to address member challenges and guarantee seamless service delivery.
• Mentor Account Managers, Account Specialists, and Account Coordinators.
• Stay informed about client organizations, products, services, news, and changes.
• Maintain and update records for clients.
• Build strong working relationships with Pharmacy Operations, service partners, and client contacts.
• Communicate key client account activities to cross-functional teams.
• Prioritize issues and evaluate escalations that could lead to client attrition risks.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
• 3-5 years of experience as an Account Executive in PBM or health insurance sectors.
• Over 5 years of experience in direct account management or relationship management within healthcare.
• Strong preference for candidates with knowledge of commercial health insurance and pharmacy benefits.
• Ability to interpret complex data sets, such as claims, rebates, and ROI, and convert them into actionable insights for C-suite executives.
• Exceptional executive-level communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience in managing client relationships, documenting expectations and deliverables, engaging stakeholders, and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within an extended, cross-functional team.
• Initiative to take action with minimal direction.
• Expert skills in conflict resolution.
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
