Zuora Billing Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, configure, develop, integrate, unit test, and provide support for Billing Platform implementations.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams.

• Customize and configure the Billing Platform in alignment with business and functional requirements.

• Develop technical solutions utilizing the scripting, APIs, and configuration capabilities of the Billing Platform.

• Create and maintain billing workflows, rating rules, invoicing, taxation, payments, collections, and revenue-related processes.

• Configure the product catalog, pricing, subscriptions, usage billing, tax settings, and billing schedules.

• Design and create integrations between the Billing Platform and enterprise applications.

• Develop REST/SOAP API integrations.

• Create unit test cases and assist with System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing.

• Convert client requirements into technical specifications and solution designs.

• Guide technical solutions from customer business processes and functional specifications through to delivery.

• Lead discussions with customers regarding business needs, requirements discovery, problem framing, solution workshops, and technical solution delivery.

• Collaborate in fast-paced implementation environments to achieve customer results.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–12 years of relevant experience.

• Proven experience in implementing and customizing Billing Platform SaaS solutions for enterprise Quote-to-Cash transformations.

• Capability to configure and customize the Billing Platform based on business and functional requirements.

• Experience in developing technical solutions using Billing Platform scripting, APIs, and configuration capabilities.

• Background in building and maintaining billing workflows, rating rules, invoicing, taxation, payments, collections, and revenue-related processes.

• Familiarity with configuring product catalogs, pricing, subscriptions, usage billing, tax settings, and billing schedules.

• Experience in designing and developing integrations with Salesforce, SAP, Oracle ERP, NetSuite, CRM systems, payment gateways, tax engines, and data warehouses.

• Knowledge of developing REST/SOAP API integrations.

• Strong hands-on experience with billing platforms, including APIs, integrations, and data reconciliation.

• Proficiency in SQL and reporting tools.

• Experience in developing unit test cases and supporting System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills at both business and technical levels.

• Preferred knowledge of Zuora Billing, Oracle ORMB, SAP BRIM, or similar billing applications.

• Technical skills: API, SQL, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, JSON, and XML.

• BillingPlatform Partner Essential Certification (L1), Partner Pro Certification (L2), or Partner Elite Certification (L3).
