Curriculum Developer, Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Develop, enhance, and sustain curriculum content for Data programmes, which includes e-learning materials, activities, assessments, and supplementary resources.

• Assist in the creation of new programmes, programme variations, and tailored learning solutions for clients.

• Evaluate and ensure the quality of existing curriculum content for accuracy, accessibility, consistency, relevance, and overall learner experience.

• Collaborate with Product Managers, coaches, Curriculum Developers, and subject matter experts.

• Convert intricate Data and AI concepts into practical and accessible learning experiences.

• Analyze feedback from learners, coaches, and stakeholders, and implement iterative enhancements to the curriculum.

• Monitor curriculum-related inquiries and issues, identify recurring patterns, and suggest improvements.

• Utilize Jira or similar tools to log, track, prioritize, and address curriculum-related tasks and content issues.

• Keep content up-to-date with advancements in data, analytics, artificial intelligence, tools, technologies, and industry practices.

• Support curriculum quality assurance processes while upholding high standards across learning materials and programmes.

• Enhance learner engagement, progression, and outcomes through improvements in content, activities, and learning design.

• Ensure alignment of learning content with apprenticeship standards, assessment requirements, and End-Point Assessment expectations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Comprehensive knowledge of data analytics concepts and practices.

• Solid understanding of AI and its practical applications, including workplace AI tools.

• Experience in developing, reviewing, or enhancing learning content, training materials, e-learning, or technical educational resources.

• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible, and engaging learning experiences.

• Strong written communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Confidence in reviewing technical content for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and relevance.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with Product Managers, subject matter experts, coaches, and stakeholders.

• Capability to manage competing priorities and work flexibly across various programmes or projects.

• Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to use feedback and evidence for implementing enhancements.

• Ability to research unfamiliar or emerging technical topics and develop sufficient subject knowledge.

• Desirable: experience in developing curriculum or learning content in Data, Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a similar technical field.

• Desirable: experience in apprenticeships, further education, professional learning, or adult education.

• Desirable: knowledge of apprenticeship standards, KSBs, assessment plans, or End-Point Assessment.

• Desirable: hands-on experience with Excel, Power BI, SQL, Tableau, Python, Google Sheets, Looker Studio, or similar tools.

• Desirable: familiarity with ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, Claude, or other generative AI platforms.

• Desirable: understanding of machine learning, generative AI, prompt engineering, AI ethics, responsible AI, or AI governance.

• Desirable: experience using authoring or learning technologies to create digital learning content.

• Desirable: experience working in Agile, Product, or iterative development environments, including Jira.

• Desirable: experience in quality assurance or peer reviewing technical learning materials.
